Yes, I’m finally doing coaching. I know I said I would never do it. But, as I wind down my daygaming I’ll have a bit more free time on my hands, so why not make some money help others?!
I know there are plenty of other daygamers out there offering it. So why choose me?
As most of you will know if you have read my blog, I’ve gotten pretty good at this stuff over the years. I don’t believe anyone else has tracked their statistics so meticulously from day one, right up to my very last set. Most people tell me I’m a sad little broken man for doing this. But I think it gives an accurate idea of what success really looks like and there is absolutely zero guess work in my stats.
I am not in love with myself, and I don’t believe I have narcissistic traits, which most will say is what you need to succeed as a daygamer. I don’t take myself too seriously, and neither should you. This daygame stuff is fun and I will help you see it that way.
Why should you believe I’m any good?
Another good question. I don’t post infields because I want to remain anonymous. I still have a professional career (kinda) and I don’t want to sabotage that. But, the daygame community is small and incestuous, and plenty of the main guys have met me and seen me operate. I do not lie. Everything you read on my blog is true, if you don’t believe it, just ask around.
“Is that Roy Walker Fella any good?” Says you.
“Aye, but he’s a fuckin pisshead” Will be their most likely response. And this wouldn’t be far from the truth.
So Roy, enough of that preamble shite, how is this going to work?

What will we discuss on the call?
Whatever you want. On the first call, I’ll grill you on your bonafides and give you an honest assessment of where I think you are vs where you should be. From then on, it’s up to you what we discuss. We can go through infields if you’ve recorded them, I can play you some of mine (most of them are old, but I can record some new ones if you really want). Or we can just have a chat.
N.b. I will either have my face blurred or my video will be off to protect my anonymity, but your camera will need to be on, I’ll need to see your face and your general demeanour to get a good handle on you.
This all sounds great, how much are you going to charge me for this privilege?
£50 an hour initially.
